Mandisa L. Holmes is an associate attorney with Upkins Law. While Mandisa works closely with all our clients, she focuses on business and corporate law, contracts, entrepreneurial and emerging business law, and expungements. Mandisa is a member of the National Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Mandisa earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis. Mandisa went on to earn her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. As part of her legal studies, she also earned a certificate in Business Law and participated in the Business Law Clinic where she provided legal assistance to small businesses as a student attorney. Mandisa was Associate Editor for the Hamline Journal of Public Law & Policy, Class Representative of the Student Bar Association, and Chair Member of the Ways and Means Committee.

Prior to joining Upkins Law, Mandisa worked for a Fortune 50 company for 17 years where she drafted company policies and provided clients with billing and credit analyst assistance. Most recently Mandisa worked in the legal department for a Fortune 500 company counseling business clients on national and regional marketing campaigns and assisting in complex litigation cases.

When Mandisa is not servicing the needs of Upkins Law clients, she sits on the board which provides financial scholarships to students. Believing education is essential and should be available to all, Mandisa’s work on this board helps to ensure students facing financial difficulties are not deterred from achieving their educational goals. Mandisa is also an avid basketball fan and loves to share her passion with her only child, Craig Jr. She has an uncanny ability of inserting basketball analysis in everyday conversations and will passionately advocate on Michael Jordan’s behalf as being the best basketball player…ever.
